Further Description of Auction Items
We sell on eBay under the ID of Lostshade.
We have been selling on eBay since 2000 and have more than 11,100 unique positive feedback, with a total of more than 45,000 postive feedback.

If you are bidding on our auctions, there are some things you should know:
Card Condition
The condition of the cards up for auction is stated in each auction. The majority of what we sell is single cards straight out of the pack, so most auctions are labled Mint/Near Mint. Please be advised that most cards even out of the packs do not truly qualify for Mint in the strict grading scale.
| True Mint is defined as: | This card shows no flaws in printing, no scuffs, no scratches, no bends, no white on edges, picture perfectly centered and printed, no crimp or cut marks. Card is PERFECT in every way. | | Near Mint is defined as: | This is (probably) an unplayed card. It shows almost no wear and may have a few minor scrathces or slight marks on the cards edges. | | Fine is defined as: | This card is obviously been played but not heavily. It lacks marks that would make it easily identifiable. Definately has some minor scratches and/or less than perfect edges. | | Good is defined as: | This card has a played look to it and will have white showing on three or four edges on both faces. It may also be a card that looks like a near mint card, but has one distinguishing wear feature such as a slight tear, or an easily identifiable crease or bend. | | Poor is defined as: | Any card less than good condition, including brand new cards that have been crimped or miscut at the factory. |
Our auctions do not include pictures of the cards because it is a violation of trademarks to do so.
Shipping
No More Sales of WOTC Products Outside of the USA
We are no longer selling any WOTC product outside of the USA, effective immediately. LostShade, Inc. will no longer sell any Wizards of the Coast products outside of the USA as legal counsel for WOTC in Germany has claimed that our sales to European Union customers are made without WOTC's consent. WOTC so far has not disputed its lawyer's claims or given us consent to sell into that market. This includes singles and sets in addition to WOTC's previous policy forbidding the sale of sealed product outside of the USA. We appologize to all of our valued international customers for this change, but this matter is beyond our control. We thank our international customers for their past business.

Warning on Card Sales to Italy
We have had a vast number of loyal and kind customers in Italy. However, early in 2004 Italian customs began to search and loose most of the packages of cards we sent to Italy. We were told it is illegal to ship "playing cards" into Italy. Even though we don't sell playing cards per se, some custmos officials seem to take trading card games as playing cards. Due to the large number of lost packages most likely taken by Italian customs we ask that Italian customers not bid on our card auctions. If you are in Italy and do bid, please be aware that you may not receive the items and we do not offer any gaurantee or refunds for lost items to Italy. You are buying at your own risk.

We ship using USPS First Class mail.
Auctions for 1x, 2x, 3x, or 4x cards have a shipping cost of $1.00. If you win several of these auctions and make a single payment for all of them, we will reduce shipping on each auction past the first one to $.25 for each additional auction.
Auctions for more than 4 cards or for packs have separate shipping charges. Discounts may still apply for multiple auctions; contact us for details.
For USA customers whose total exceeds $30.00, Delivery Confirmation will automatically be added and up to 55 cards will also be shipped in a free plastic deck box.
Delivery Confirmation and Insurance can be added to any USA package for an additional charge.
Delivery confirmation and a free plastic deck box can be added for an additional $.75.
Insurance varies by total cost.
Shipping can be upgraded to USPS Priority Mail for an additional charge for USA customers.
We usually ship all items within one business day of receiving payment, except weekends and postal holidays when this is not possible.
If you pay by Paypal, we will ONLY ship to the address listed with Paypal.
For our international customers We will not mark items sent as a gift. We fill out and file all appropriate customs forms and information. This is to ensure pompt delivery and processing by all customs offices involved in the delivery of your order.
Packaging
Auctions for 1x, 2x, 3x, or 4x cards are packaged in a soft sleeve and top loader. Up to four auctions for 1x cards may be combined into one top loader. More than 4x cards will not fit in a single top loader.
Up to five sets of top loaders will be shipped this way.
More than five of these auctions will be shipped in a plastic deck box, cardboard box, protective wrap or other secure means. Up to 55 cards generally ship in a snap-top plastic deck box, but this may vary.
Auctions for sets of cards will be shipped in protective wrap and/or a box.
Auctions for minis are shipped in boxes or priority packaging. If you have special packaging requirements, please contact us before bidding to see if we can accomdate you.
Returns/Refunds
We aim to please all of our customers. If you are purchasing a large value of items, we recommend purchasing insurance to protect against damage or loss during shipping.
If you think that we have made a mistake in what we shipped to you, please e-mail us right away. If we make a verified mistake, we will try to replace the items. If we can not replace them, we will refund the price of the cards.
The post office does occasionally damage a package, though almost always they return the package to the sender. If your package arrives damaged and you wish to make a claim for replacement of items, we will require that you provide scans of the damaged packaging and the accompaning documentation from the post office, and we may need that returned to us. If you can't provide this your damage claim will not be considered.
Customers who leave negative feedback without giving us a chance to rectify the problem will be banned from bidding on further auctions.
Non-paying bidders
If you bid on an auction you are expected to pay if you win. Do not bid if you do not intend to pay by one of our accepted payment methods. We will file a NPB report with eBay for each auction that is not paid.
Payment
We encourage bidders to bid over several days and combine several days of auctions in to one payment to save on shipping costs. We only ask that you pay for your items within 30 days.
At the end of each day you will receive a winning bidder notice combining auctions you won that day. Email us if you need a combined total for multiple days of auction wins and we will send you an invoice with combined shipping cost. You may also check the Check Order Status page of this site for your current combined total, this link is also provided in the winning email you will be sent.
To receive the combined shipping discount, you must make a single payment for all the items. Buyers who send multiple Paypal payments with only the reduced shipping will have those payments refunded to be re-submitted either as one payment with combined shipping or individual payments with full shipping costs.
