Warhammer Ard Boyz this weekend

The Warhammer Ard Boyz preliminary round is this weekend! Come on down Saturday starting at noon for the ultimate battle to prove you have what it takes to be the best. Don't forget our store has moved to its new location at Town Center, unit W-1 at 182 Neff Ave, Harrisonburg VA 22801. Saturday hours are 10 am to 10PM or later if the tournament runs long.
Ard Boyz format is 3000 points with the new rules in effect. Please call the store at (540) 438-5678 or email to store001@lostshade.com to preregister so we know how many are coming. From the GW website, it does not look like many store are holding the preliminaries this time so we may run out of room.
Entry is free and GW provides great prize support for these so come out and have fun.

Events this weekend

M11, the newest core set for Magic, releases this month. Come down on Saturday, July 10 for our pre-release events!
First, Saturday at 11 AM we have a sealed tournament. Each player gets 6 packs to make the best 40 card deck they can. Entry fee is $25.00. Then in the late afternoon, probably about 4PM, try a draft! On Sunday at 11AM, we will have a two-headed giant sealed tournament!.
Also this weekend, Warhammer Fantasy gets a new rulebook! Come on down Friday night starting at 9 for a multiplayer game. Bring whatever points you want and we will split into two teams. From 9 too midnight, we play by the current rules. Then at midnight, we switch to the new rule book!
On Saturday from noon to 2PM, we will have a sale on all Fantasy boxes, 25 percent off regular price. Buy a box or two, then sit and start clipping and glueing. We will have a prize for the person who bilds the most models and the best models. The new rules emphasize large blocks of troops, so this is a great time to build up your core units. Then play a quick small game to try out the large units under the new rules. We will have a door prize for this event.
